Signature experience

Whale Shark Adventure · Holbox

The largest fish on Earth

Swim beside 12-meter whale sharks in season (May–September) with a marine biologist guide.

Small groups only

Maximum 10 guests per boat — rotating pairs in the water, no fins-first chaos.

How the day unfolds

1

Early drive to Chiquilá

Pickup before dawn — the crossing to the feeding grounds is calmest early, and the sharks are most active.

2

Boat out to the grounds

Roughly an hour offshore. Your biologist briefs you on approach rules and what to watch for.

3

Swim rotations

Pairs rotate into the water beside the sharks — two to three drops per person, unhurried.

4

Barefoot lunch on Holbox

Ceviche on a sandbank off Holbox, then the drive home with a stop for photos in the island's sandy streets.
